Chaska principal is candidate for Shakopee assistant superintendent

According to the Shakopee Valley News , Sheryl Hough, principal at Chaska Middle School West, is one of nine candidates for the Shakopee School District's new assistant superintendent position. The candidates will be interviewed on March 15, with two or three returning for second interviews on March 16.  In 2010, Hough was named Hennepin Division Middle School Principal of the Year.

The Star Tribune is reporting that the Carver County Sheriff’s Office has enhanced courthouse security pertaining to a family court case involving Lea Banken, who runs the blog “Carver County Corruption.” As reported earlier, Judge Richard Perkins was considering a motion to shut down the blog.
