Pistol Pete's will open in the former Mix location.

Chaskans won't have just one new restaurant to look forward to in downtown. At Monday night's Chaska City Council meeting, Mayor Mark Windschitl announced that a barbeque joint is destined for the former Mix location at the southeast corner of Highway 41 and Third Street (across from City Square Park). (That's in addition to the
new Patron Mexican Restaurant slated for the building on the northwest corner of Chestnut and Second streets)
Windschitl said the restaurant would be called Pistol Pete's. The owners are still in the process of closing on the property, but Windschitl said the deal is expected to be done by the end of the year. The owners have another barbeque restaurant called Jake & Elwoods in Anoka.
