A mild week is on the way for our area. Our high temperature should top out in the 40's most every day. We may see a few rainy days by the middle to end of the week, so we'll have to keep an eye on our snowpack (and the river) if that does materialize. Today, expect a partly sunny sky and a high around 45 degrees. Our winds should be light, blowing from the north at 5 mph or less.

Our weather statistics include a high yesterday of 41 degrees. We dodged any freezing rain last night by staying above the 32 degree mark, falling to just 34 degrees overnight. We received 0.06" of rain in the past 24-hours, reducing our snowpack by another inch. The Minnesota River rose slightly overnight, sitting at 8.10 feet this morning. Our record temps for today are 76 degrees (set in 1987) and minus 14 (from 1955), while the average temps for the day are 39 and 19 degrees. Sunrise and sunset times for today are 6:41 a.m. and 6:10 p.m. (note: that will change substantially next Sunday, when Daylight Savings Time kicks in and brings our sunset times into the 7:00 hour).
