Each week we publish a detail of a local building. The next week we indentify the building, along with a detail of a different building. Do you know where the heck this is? Post your answer; e-mail editor@chaskaherald.com; or call (952) 345-6574.

A handful of people guessed that this detail was from a local church, but nope. Last week’s photo was an ornament on the Carver-Scott Educational Cooperative building. When it was constructed in 1931, the gothic-style building, on east Fourth Street, served as Chaska High School.

Thanks Mark,

and Thanks for making some of these a little more difficult.

The prize goes to Carroll Aasen this week for guessing the building.

I thought this would be an easy one. However, only one person has got it so far (and she left a message with more than one guess).

So let me give a clue: March Forth -- Or March Fourth to make it a bit simpler. And no, it isn't the Moravian Church.

In any case, I'm glad "Where the heck is it?" is providing a place to show off some of our city's beautiful little architectural gems that sometimes go unnoticed.
