Sunny and 42 degrees today - now that sounds like a great Friday forecast! The weekend may bring increasing clouds and the chance of some light rain on Saturday and into Sunday (perhaps even mixed with a little bit of sleet/snow on occasion). Don't worry though, any new accumulations of snow that we might see won't stay around long. A larger storm system rolling through on Monday and Tuesday should slide by to our south, thus allowing our slow melt to continue.

Our high temp on Thursday was 40 degrees, once again, while our low last night was a warm 22 degrees. The record temps for March 5 are 75 degrees (that is our first record high to reach into the 70's in over four months, and it was set in the year 2000) and -14 (from back in 1960), while the averages for today are 38 and 18 degrees. The river rose slightly over the past 24-hours, sitting at 8.05 feet this morning. The sun will rise this morning at 6:45 a.m. and it will set this evening at 6:07 p.m., as our springtime daylight continues to stretch and grow.
