101 just north of existing Highway 212 is gorgeous. Not a good place to stop and take it all in but worth the drive through.

Nothing beats southeastern Minnesota and northeastern Iowa in October … I make the trip every fall on my way to college Homecoming in Decorah, Iowa. PLUS I grew up in the Winona County bluffs area of St. Charles – beautiful countryside and more.
