Cuzzy's (formerly Pauly's) by
As a former loyal Pauly's patron, I happened to notice yesterday (3/16) that Cuzzy's was open for business. I liked most of what Pauly's had to offer, but allegedly, some poor business decisions forced the doors closed. Well it seems Cuzzy's might picking up right where Pauly's left off... For starters, Cuzzy's has done little or no promotion. Or if they have, it's somehow passed me by. Why not start a Facebook page or something to get the area buzzing? Secondly, take the massive sign off the front of the building that says OPEN SOON. You're open! Climb up there and rip down the SOON. That alone, is unbelievable to me! Next, the prices. Almost all the appetizers range from $10-$11. Yikes! Only pint glasses for their tap beer. Most of the staff is new from what I could see. They hired back a few Pauly's employees, but failed to re-hire one of the best bartenders I've ever had. How did that happen? Strike three. Oh wait, that's actually strike five. This isn't just my opinion. After talking to a few of the 'Pauly's regulars' that night, they were less than excited about most of what Cuzzy's has to offer too. But having said all that, I'm more than willing to give them time to sort some things out. It's always been a great place to watch the game and the bartenders seemed friendly at least. Although, two of us shelled out $60 (tip included) for two appetizers and six beers. At those prices, I'll drive to Buffalo Wild Wings in Chanhassen. Let's hope they can figure it out. Chaska needs this.

My wife & I tried Cuzzy’s this evening.
Pretty good service, Only took 30 minutes from placing the order Burgers & Fries until we were done eating.
Yes, we were hungry.
For 1st/2nd week, they’re doing good w/room to learn.
Only fault was my wife’s Brickhouse Burger was more rare, than Medium Well as ordered which was ok with her and her burger bun was soggy from the grease.
My SOB (South Of the Boder) Burger was Medium well, just right amount of Peppers and sour cream. Curly Fries were good.
We will try them again in a few weeks to see how they’ve improved.
PS: Atmosphere was nice too, although I could not read the score for the Twins Game. Last time we were in the bldg (as Pauly’s was a few years ago) at the time we told the manager we would not be back as the smoke was horrible, a blue cloud across the whole room. Tonight was very pleasant.

Cuzzy’s
We went to Cuzzy’s today for lunch to show my local economic support and try to not have another Chaska restaurant go out of business. I took a client out and besides cleaning the facility not much has changed unless you count the cost of food and drinks. For two people we spent $48.00 for lunch and beverages. Beer is $4.00 tap with not a huge selection for lunch incentives. Disappointed that Cuzzy’s (Victoria house cousin) didn’t serve Pepperoni soup because it may “caniblize” it’s other business in Victoria the food was okay. Fries were cold, Buffalo wrap was good but $9.00 small portion. I told the server about the cold fries she said it was good to hear so they can improve seeing that they have only been open a week. Much needs to improve before I return or refer people to eat at Cuzzy’s you may as well drive to Victoria where prices are less expensive and you can eat Pepperoni Soup a must have.

My wife and I went to Cuzzy’s for the first time on St Patricks Day. The place was packed. The server was friendly and at that time they were only offering a limited menu, no problem with that. Our meal was average at best. Our server forgot the app’s until after our entrees were served. Our food was not prepared as requested. As the evening progressed the staff seemed to be overwhelmed. I understand they just opened and I hope things improve. For now we will continue to drive to Chan for dinner. Maybe we will try again in a few weeks

Any recommendations from menu items that have been tried so far? Looks like a good variety. How are the pizzas?

I was at Cuzzy’s last night and had a GREAT experience! The service was great and the food was very good! This isn’t Pauly’s but I think we need to give them a chance to be as good if not better then Pauly’s! Obviously they are successful with the Victoria House as well as Cuzzy’s in Minneapolis. I am really excited to have them here! As I was waiting to be seated last night someone was looking at the menu and ask a Manager/Owner if that was their whole menu. His response was “We have to walk before we can run”. Lets give them that chance to run! Nothing is free here people! If you go to Ruby Tuesday’s you will pay the same prices there if not more!
Good luck to the Brick House and Welcome to Chaska!

Only one two things are clear with this new establishment.
1) Its NOT Paully’s.
2) The menu has triple the offerings of Paully’s.
1st time eating there today. Just a couple of days in they are somewhat disorganized and its apparent the cooks needs some orientating with the grills
All that said, my meal was delicious. Nothing more than “just opening” flaws. I think they will do well.
Congrats on a good start!

Has anyone else tried out
