Seems like everyone is getting their own reality television shows these days. Today's entertainment news alone adds Survivor's Boston Rob and rapper Ice-T to the mix.
So which celebrity's "real" life would you like to see televised? Is their a formula for success? The more D-list the better?
I kept thinking about the Osbournes when I started this forum topic. I fell in love with them almost instantly even though they seemed like such an odd choice for reality tv. For that reason, I don’t dare judge a reality show by its cover anymore – some of the most addicting ones are those you’d least expect.

There are a few really obvious answers for this one: Lindsay Lohan, Eminem or Lil Wayne, etc, but they aren’t necessarily who I’d go with.
Sometimes the most unlikely celebs have the most entertaining reality shows. I mean, did anyone really care about Ozzy Osbourne’s home life until MTV beamed it into our bedrooms? And who even knew/cared about the Kardashians before E!? For all I know, a show following Melissa Etheridge or Marie Osmond might be fascinating.
Personally, I think it would be really compelling to see what John Mayer is like as he writes and records his next album and tries to get people to like him (i.e. not think he’s a racist and a womanizer) again. Plus, I do wonder what he’s like around his friends.
I’m much more interested in what really famous people are like behind the scenes, a la MTV’s “Diary.” Most reality shows (like “The Simple Life” and “The Hills”) feel so contrived, and I think it would be really great to just get one camera following one famous person to see if the person matches the persona.
Prince William and princess-in-waiting Kate Middleton are an obvious-if-most-unlikely pick, but how interesting would it be to be a fly on the palace walls?
