Obituary for Nadine Rae Miller
Nadine Miller, 46, of Chaska, died Friday, Feb. 24, 2012, at Fairview University Medical Center in Minneapolis. Funeral service is Monday, 3:30 p.m. at Crown of Glory Lutheran Church, 1141 Cardinal Ln., Chaska. Visitation was Sunday, Feb. 26 from 4-7 p.m. at the Bertas Funeral Home, 200 W. It is a Leap Day to celebrate this year as Mother Nature turned it into a snow day for students across the school district to enjoy. Weather conditions triggered the closure of schools in the Eastern Carver County School District Wednesday. The city of Carver is slated to be reimbursed more than 90 percent of what it spent last year to protect residents and businesses amid official predictions of potential record flooding.
