Chaska workers prepare to strike
American Crystal Sugar Co. union employees are preparing to strike today. The strike impacts 1,300 workers – mostly at beet processing plants in the Red River Valley, but also at the company’s Chaska operation off of Stoughton Avenue. Here’s the Grand Forks Herald story on the strike.
