Molnau on Pawlenty: 'Not a good judge of what he needs'

Carol Molnau had a pretty strong assessment for former Minnesota governor, and now presidential hopeful, Tim Pawlenty, in a recent Huffington Post interview.

Molnau, a former Chaska farmer and city councilor, served as Pawlenty’s lieutenant governor.

“He has a tendency to not be a good judge of what he needs,” Molnau told the Huffington Post. “He surrounds himself with people that say ‘yes’ and tell him how good he’s doing, but he doesn't have a lot of people who can take the chance at critiquing him, and that's a problem he's had for a long time,” Molnau added.

(Tip of the hat to MinnPost’s The Glean for gleaning this information.)

Altho I am DFL, I have always admired Carol and the work she did in Chaska and for the State. I will never forget her coming to the DFL Caucus when she was our Rep and reminding us she represented us so be sure to contact her. We need more people in both partis like Carol.
