The Carver County Library added a curbside book/materials return for Chaska Library users. The curbside return is located on an island in the city of Chaska parking lot (between Chestnut and Elm) on the west side of city hall.

“The new curb-side book return was placed with the customer in mind,” stated Carver County Commissioner Randy Maluchnik, in a press release. “They can drop off their library material 24 hours a day seven days a week without having to leave their car. This is especially convenient for parents with young children, people with mobility issues and all patrons when it is raining or snowing.”

Library staff will empty the book return daily and all materials will be checked in on a timely basis to avoid any delays in due dates. All library material including books, magazines and DVD’s can be returned at the curbside return.
