A Carver County jury has found Travis Allan Olsen, 37, guilty of first-degree criminal sexual conduct.

The registered Level 3 sex offender from Prior Lake was on trial for allegedly assaulting a 12-year-old girl in Chaska several times between September 2007 and September 2008.

The 12-person jury delivered its verdict to Judge Phillip Kanning at approximately 4 p.m. on Tuesday after deliberating for just over 24 hours.

Assistant Carver County Attorney Michael Wentzell said Kanning has ordered a pre-sentence investigation. The standard time for such an investigation is between four and six weeks, according to Wentzell.
