The final design will improve safety at the intersection while maintaining mobility for both regional and local traffic. Similar intersections have been installed successfully in Willmar, Minnesota and in other states. The Cologne design also includes elements that address local concerns raised during an extensive public involvement process.
The open house will be held at Cologne Community Center, 1211 Village Parkway, Wed., Feb. 22 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The project’s layout and design and other displays will be available for viewing throughout the open house, and attendees will be able to get questions answered directly from project representatives and local officials. No formal presentation is planned.
