A McDonald's for northern Chaska?

McDonald's is proposing a second Chaska location, this one up by Kohl's on the north end of town.

According to Sean Olsen's Brick City Blog, the proposal will be on the Planning Commission's agenda next Wednesday. Olsen is a member of the city's Parks Board.

So, Downtown area is suffering and dying and we want to put a SECOND McDonalds in northern Chaska to help kill this area even more. How long until the Chaska Blvd McDonalds goes the way of KFC? And do we Really NEED another McDonalds anyway? Why not a different chain that offers some more options? Long John Silvers for fish, Taco John's for fast food Mexican (ideas already offered by others here). IF we NEED a burger joint lets get something other then McDonalds, which are a dime a dozen now. No more McDonalds! And While we are at it lets look at finding a fast food place to take over the KFC and let Northern Chaska enjoy the MANY food places they have now. DOWNTOWN first. Lets keep CHASKA ALIVE!

Just add a playground to the one on Chaska Blvd and chaska families will stop going to the one in chanhassen and eden prairie.

If McDonalds were smart unless they got a really good deal on land. I would build out by the new Mills Fleet Farm on Jonathan Carver Parkway. Everything will move over there eventually and sorry to say Chaska will really die off since access to these off 212 is not the most conveniant.

That would be just dumb...Why would we need another McDonalds??? Chaska really doesnt want anyone downtown or anywhere near it!!! the McDonald's on Chaska Blvd will close if this happens.....I agree w/the Taco Bell idea....
